[Feature request] API get organizatoin licensed users

Post by b.vanhaastrecht »

Hello,

We would like an additional request to be added to the API. Currently you can only get the licensed users from the whole VBO. We have multiple organizations and would like to get the licensed users of a single organization. To be clear, there is a organization licenses request, but that's only the total count. We need the complete user list as with /licensedusers.

Currently we need to pull all users and filter them to the scoped organization. The request takes long and the filtering requires CPU load. This can be eliminated by adding the per organization licensed users request.

So please add:
/Organizations/{organizationId}/licensedusers

Or:
Add a filter option to /Licensedusers

Thanks, regards,
Bastiaan

U can actually use LicensedUsers?organizationId=ID and it will show only that organization's users.

I did not know the API support filtering? Is this described somewhere? Will check and let you know.

Yes, setting a filter on the request URL works! Double checked the docs, but this feature is not documented.

Bastiaan,

I already requested the team to look into it and make this documented. It will probably take some time. By the way, please do use our send feedback on those pages. We like to see our documentation to be the best, and every hint/ tip/ ... really helps and is being looked at by the tech writers team.

Cheers
Mike
