[Feature Requst] Send agent backup to tape daily

Hello.

Since we dont have reverse incremental in agent backups, and we cant use virtual full backups to tape when using sythetic backups, i would like the option to do Full daily tape backups even when i have periodic fulls in the source job, without any workaround.

The scenario is simple :

A costumer want to send his Full agent backup to tape daily, for complaince or to protect from ransonware, without the need of a workaround.

thanks for the feature request. Yes, that one comes up from time to time for the situation you mention (and also for VM backup with synthetic / active full).

With REFS, some customers just do daily synthetic full. Maybe that can be a workaround for you.
