Hello everyone,
Newbie question related to the use of a Synology as Backup Repository on a DRP site.
What the best performance solution:
- Setup NFS on Synology, connect ESX server multipath on this NFS share, create vmdk file on the repository, format new repository drive with ReFS (Which Allocation Unit Size should I use?)
- Mount disk through ISCSI on my Windows Virtual machine, format with ReFS 64k
- Mount NFS share with the Windows NFS client
Or maybe you have another solution?
Thanks for your help

Re: Synology as backup repository
Hi David,
I would go with option 2 - iSCSI to Windows machine and 64k ReFS.
/Thanks!
