Failover Cluster Backup
If you have a Windows Failover Cluster (SQL or File) that exists as virtual machines in VMWare, do I need to back it up as a Failover Cluster object in Veeam which is essentially treating it as a physical server or can I merely add the 2 Windows Failover VM's into a single job and back them up as vm's?

Re: Failover Cluster Backup
Hi Collin,
Typically shared storage is in place and VM snapshot is impossible, so agent-based backup is the only way. Otherwise, there are shared-nothing cluster configurations that can be protected with host-based backups.
/Thanks!
