Veeam B&R Delete Shared Folder

Hello all

For a ZIP backup of a VM I have defined during the process a network share with temporary credentials.
After the ZIP backup I tried to delete this credentials, but it want't let me delete this and states that there
is still a Shared Folder that uses this credential.
Where do I find this Shared Folder so I can delete this first and afterwards the credentials?

Hi,

it you need just to remove the credentials (not the share itself), you can select different credentials in the Wizard as it's described here.
Do you also need to delete the job/the file share?

Thanks for your answer, yes I want to delete the Shared Folder also. But I don't find this Shared Folder, where is it located?
I had to specify this during a Veeam ZIP Backup, but I don't see this Shared Folder somewhere in the GUI.

Have you checked the KB2171 mentioned in the link above?

Hi @oli4,

I think I got what went wrong, it's not so easy when we talk about VeeamZip.
Did you try to delete the backup as it is stated here and here?

Let me check with our team how to remove the credentials if that does not help.

Hi Natalia

I was able to delete the Shared Folder with the two SQL queries, afterwards I was able to delete
the credentials.

SELECT * FROM [Backup.Model.MruList]
DELETE FROM [Backup.Model.MruList] WHERE url = ‘Y:\SSB\05_TMP\OWE\VMware\ImEx’

thank you for sharing the results!
Just checked on my side and couldn't remove the credentials after removing the backup from Configuration.

Will come back with the results after we investigate this issue.
