Does Veeam support backup of VM on Azure Stack HCI ?

According to the following Microsoft page, Azure Stack HCI hypervisor seems to be using Hyper-V, so we think Veeam can run backup of VM on Azure Stack HCI.

Azure Stack HCI - is it by design, that this cannot be added to VBR as a cluster?
VBR version is 10.0.1.4754

v10 does not support Azure Stack HCI. Mainly, because it is not released yet.

But Veeam plans to add support for Azure Stack HCI?
Also if i need to test it out, is another option to add HCI to VMM and then add Microsoft VMM to Veeam? Would it be supported then?

We did some tests with our next Veeam B&R version and haven't found any serious issues. It's too early to speak about support though until we get the finally released code in our QC lab. As for v10, we cannot comment as it was never tested against Azure Stack HCI. Thanks.

Correct.

Regarding HCI to VMM setup, we've not tested v10 with it in our QC labs, so you may give it a try at your own risk (in any case, not recommended for production usage). It would be great if you could share the outcome here for future reference.

This article is correct. We will support Azure Stack HCI with v11 unless something unexpected happens.
