When is the version of Veeam Agent for Windows with support for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (October 2020 Update) expected?

Best regards

Hi Tim.

Official support should come in the next product update before the end of this year.

Until then feel free to share your experience with the update 20H2 and Veeam Agent 4.0 - if something ain't working, please share with us! As far as I know, currently there are no known issues.

/Thanks!

I just migrated my Veeam 9.5 to a new server and went to v10. I had a Windows 10 20H2 pc that has a USB drive attached, elsewhere on eh network that I would reach out over the network and drop backups on it, so they were not in the same room as the other backup. Since going to v10 the Veeam agent gives an error when trying to install the components to make it accessible to me. Error I get is "Microsoft Windows 10 (1057) is not supported". Opened a case to see if there is a newer agent/installer service to deploy so I can run those backups out to USB again.

So far no issues with Windows 10 20H2 and Veeam Agent 4.0.1.2169.

Hello folks,

The only issue we've found so far is a UI glitch in the Recovery Media created on Windows 10 20H2: we cannot correctly display the original operating system used for recovery media creation (so Unknown Operating system is displayed in the UI). The rest according to our QA team works without any issues and it's safe to use Veeam Agent for Windows on new version of Windows 10. Cheers!
