HPE Primera iSCSI Storage Snapshot

Post by crackocain »

Hello

I saw HPE Primera isn't supported iSCSI Storage Snapshot integration.

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... 00#storage

Could you tell me is any roadmap for this feature? Who is responsible for this feature? HPE or Veeam.

Thank you.

Hi Mehmet, support for iSCSI was added by HPE in Primera OS version 4.2. We've just got the ability to test against this firmware and are going to perform tests to make sure it is supported on our side. Thanks!

Thanks Alex. Some of customers upgrade their arrays 3PAR to Primera so if a customer use iSCSI connection we have a problem :)

Is it supported next Veeam update?

Chances are it can be supported right away in the current version but we need to run tests to verify that.

Hi,

Any updates on this subject? Will HPE Primera backup from storage snapshot work with iSCSI?
