How to exclude MS SQL Databases from SQL Log backup

Post by Henrik.Grevelund »

Hi

This article https://www.veeam.com/kb2104 mentions how to skip a single database from log backup.
But the list of databases doesn't contain a servername, only instance name and database name.
Since this is a global setting for all in the veeam server i would like to be able to enter the server name to pinpoint the actual database.

Have anyone found a way to add the servername to this ?
Have nice day,
Henrik

Hi Henrik,

sql_instance_name means server_name\instance_name.
Also, did you consider using this method?

Thanks!
