VAA Integration with VEM and Veeam One

Post by philfreund »

How integrated is VAA with Veeam Enterprise Manager and Veeam One? In VEM, I can see licenses and sources for file restores but I don't see any of the agent job information. In Veeam One, I don't have any data related to any agent jobs (though I suppose that is related to the lack of data in VEM since that's the source for the Veeam One backup data).

Hi Phil,

Integration of Veeam Agents for Unix with Veeam ONE (through Agent Management capabilities) is planned for future Veeam ONE versions following v11. VONE pulls data directly from VBR servers, so lack of job data in EM is not the root cause.

Are you interested in having the job data in both EM and VONE?

Thanks

Yes. I don't when/if there is a plan to have the AIX agents managed by VBR though.

Phil,

I've modified my posts to be clearer.

Unfortunately, I can't share additional details yet, but generally speaking, expanding management capabilities is one of the directions we want agents to move.

Thanks
