I am just now setting up VBO365 and have a few functionality issues that I can't figure out.
1. I see no way to encrypt backups on-disk like with B&R. Am I missing something?
2. I see no way to back up to disk and then copy onto object storage like I can with B&R. I pick on-disk and then an object storage location but on-disk only shows a Cache folder. Am I missing something?
3. I see no way to copy my on-disk backups to another site, also on-disk like I can with B&R.
It seems like if I back up to disk, they are stuck in only one spot without encryption.
If I want to back up to the cloud, they are stuck there and not on disk.
I cannot have both without running two jobs that take up twice the network traffic.
I am a very satisfied B&R customer so if the above is the case then that is disappointing.

Re: Multiple questons on product funcitonality
1. This is indeed not possible but it is also not supported to encrypt the Jet DB.
2. It is either object storage or local.
3. Correct, if you want to do this, you will have to virtualise your backup repositories and back them up VBR or use an agent if the servers are physical. If you back them up to a SOBR, you could offload them using capacity tier.

Re: Multiple questons on product funcitonality
Important to know is that VBO is application-level backup and not image-level backup. There is no such thing as a snapshot. So we need to store it completely different compared to VBR.
