Slow Backups

Hi Guys.

I am having very slow backups recently. I have a couple of customers, each in their own repo. Full backups are crawling.

I see the bottleneck is the target on this one, but I have no disk queues or anything. CPU is also low on the archiver.

Any ideas? I am on v5 now.

I have logged this as a ticket, but I am curious. I fired up acronis cloud protection to test and it smashed an organization within an hour.

Hi Hayden,

What type of storage is there? We've seen certain cases when Jet was 'not happy' with the underlying storage systems.

Storage Spaces on server 2019. It was fine with v4, but v5 is unable to complete jobs.

We split companies out into seperate repos, and it seems since this has happened, the slowness has happened.

With only one job going we get around 300-400kb/s

Please continue working with support and keep us posted on the results. We've seen similar cases with poor backup speed on Storage Spaces, but it may depend on the specific configuration.

Any news here?
We also have gernerally slower performance since the update to v5. But were using a ReFS LUN on a Synology NAS as backup repo.
