Hello Guys,
one of our customers got hacked by DarkSide. They encrypt the whole infrastructure including the Veeam backup files.
Now Bitdefender got a working decryption tool, but the *vmdk files seems to be corrupt.
Is there a chance to get the encrypted files back? The error ill get from Veeam is like:
Error: Client error: Failed to decompress LZ4 block: Incorrect decompression result or length (result: '416297', expected length: '524288').
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Steffen

Re: Backup encrypted by DarkSide
Sounds like the decryption tool is not working very well.
