Hello,
yes, you can back up the VMs with the Veeam Agent for Windows or Linux.

If you are asking for support of the Sangfor hypervisor: there is no hypervisor based backup support like for VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix AHV.

Best regard,
Hannes

Hi @Hannesk, I have a scenario, one of our customer wants to deploy VM backup and VM backup replication to their DR Site using their existing Veeam License.

- Current HQ Infra running with Nutanix (KVM/AHV)
- DR Infra using Sangfor HCI (KVM/aSV)

Is it possible to do bare metal restore of Nutanix VM backups to Sangfor HCI VMs instead?, thank you.

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Only the other way around would be possible. Backups done with agents on Sangfor and restore to Nutanix (instant recovery) would work.

Restore to Sangfor hypervisor should work with agent backups with bare metal recovery.

Best regards,
Hannes
