Installation Veeam Agent FREE v.4.0.1.2169 impossible
Hello,
I currently have Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows FREE on my laptop.
When I try to upgrade the software from version 3.0.2.1170 to version 4.0.1.2169, it gives me this error message: "failed to initialize setup program. refer to setup logs for details".
After trying several times, I decided to uninstall the software to redo a "clean" installation but the same message appears.
I don't know where the problem can come from, so I turn to you to find out more about it.
I opened a case on the Veeam website: N°04597642.

Thanks for sharing the case ID!
Unfortunately you have attached only a bootstrap log, which contains basic information about install process.
You can check other files there to see which component failed to install(EndPointSetup.log, and per-component logs like SQLLocalDB.log, etc.).

I checked the other files that you advise me and I put them on a new case (the other one has been closed), the new one is the n°04604343.
Not knowing where to look could you tell me?

Quite strange, last setup attempt logged back in 2019.

Feel free to re-open the case in a few - Free Tier support is based on best-effort practices, so cases are rejected during high load times.
We also have Veeam Agent v5 to try today(assuming you have v4.0 posting in this thread?).
