How to check backed-up and archived data in Azure blob storage

Post by storageguy »

Hi,

We have a Microsoft Azure blob storage that we used as a capacity tier in a scale-out repository that is a target of our secondary copy of our VMs backed-up. Also our Microsoft Azure blob storage is also setup as an object storage for our NAS archive.

We have a total of 40 TB (VMs and NAS combine) backed-up/archive data but we only see around 10TB in our Azure blob storage.

Is there a way or report in Veeam to check which backed-up jobs or archive has been successfully sent to the Azure blob? If I logged in to our Azure blob storage account all I see are folders that has all numbers as a name.

How to correlate and check the backed-up jobs and archive on-prem to make sure they are send to the Azure blob storage?

Thanks

Hello, the daily scale-out backup repository status report email includes the object storage offload information. So just keep an eye on this report and make sure there are no errors. Thanks!
