v10 compatibility issue with HPE 3Par InformOS 3.3.1.MU5 || Case Id - 04481665
We were planning to upgrade the customer's 3PAR (Storage) Infra from InformOS 3.3.1.MU2 to InformOS 3.3.1.MU5 due to various performance issues on 3PAR as well as to keep things up-to-date in the Infrastructure and keep things running smoothly. While working on the request to check the compatibility of Veeam v10 with the proposed HPE 3PAR's upgrade version i.e InformOS 3.3.1.MU5, came to know that it is not listed in the support matrix yet, and "maybe" it will be included in v11. Since we are incorporating the storage snapshot method in the VMware Infra, this incompatibility has halted our plan to upgrade and consequently, this is going to impact the storage performance since we are bound to stay in the same version of 3PAR OS until the build is added under-supported list.
Request you to kindly take this as a feature request to add the HPE 3PAR InformOS 3.3.1.MU5 and future release version InformOS 3.3.1.MU6 to be compatible with v10 as well as v11.
For now only the highlighted OS Versions are supported :
3PAR OS versions 3.1.2 up to 3.3.1 MU3

Thanks, Foggy.
Could you kindly confirm the release date of v11 or a tentative date?
3Par Storage compliance and upgrade is dependent and getting delayed due to this.

Please see Forum Digest mail from today.
"In other news, we are getting really close to shipping our v11 platform update! Based on the current state, I expect the RTM build to be signed off by our QC team in the next few days – and once that happens, v11 will enter the Early Availability phase. As usual, first thing we will do is share the RTM build with all of our partners, to give them some time to get acquainted with the new versions before they become generally available in a few weeks. And if all goes well, we will also allow all enthusiasts to get the bits through our customer support – more on this when the time comes!"
