Backup job with GFS and Backup copy with GFS

We are setting up a backup job, 136 points worth of retention, to match our incremental need for a month. In addition to that we are keeping 4 weeklies and 3 monthlies with GFS from weekly synthetics.

We are setting up a backup COPY job in mirroring mode, also with 136 points of retention and the same 4 weeklies and 3 monthlies to another repository.

The GFS portion has a different selection for a backup job than it does in a backup copy job, day of month vs week of month.

Will the backup copy job copy all incrementals, synthetics, and GFS points OR will it only copy incrementals/synthetics and then apply it's own GFS policy? Or does it only copy incrementals and need to create its own synthetics and GFS points?

It will start using data appearing in the source repository to create its own synthetics and GFS points in the target repository.
