enhancement request, group alerts

I'm new to setting up alerts/alarms in V1 (version 10 if it matters) and I've been told by support that there is no way to group alarms together, to set an action, all at once. I'm trying to set email alerts for some, writing files for others, so I'd like to request the ability to highlight a bunch of alarms and be able to set emails and/or alerts, for the group.

Hi Becki,

Well, you can definitely select multiple alarms in the alarm management tab and set a common action for them or did I misunderstand your question?

i was told by support that you can't (Case # 04665320) but then i read for version 11, you can, so that is good.

Yes, setting a common action is possible. It seems like there was a misunderstanding in the ticket. Glad that we've sorted this out!
