Error: Length cannot be less than zero

Post by Sander »

I've installed v3.1 a few weeks ago and from that moment I get the error "Completing current object backup process. Length cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: length".
It's only at two servers and the rest goes well.
Both servers have a RAW disk but other servers have a RAW disk too and they don't have this error.
Is it a bug in v3.1.0 or something else?

Sander, we will need to see all log files to determine what is causing this. We have not had similar reports so far.

Same problem over here. :? We also use 3.0.1 and this VM also has RDM's. I changed the backup job so it wil only backup the C & D drive. The RDM's are mountpoints on drive D, used for SQL databases. Is there already a solution or workaround to this problem?

If you need more info, let me know!

René, best would be to open support case and provide us with all logs from Help | Support Information.

I've got a fix from Veeam for this issue which I've tested today and the fix works good.
All the back-ups are running well yet.
