How can I configure S3 compatible cloud storage

We use telefonica open cloud storage for backup, it is a S3 compatible storage.
But I can not configure the storage in Veeam cloud connect.
Cloud connect let me configure gateway and service provider, but the S3 compatible cloud storage do not have gateway.
What should I do for that?

Kindly, apply to Veeam Cloud Provider group, using Usergroup settings in the User Control Panel. This's needed to get access to dedicated cloud providers' forum where similar questions are discussed. Your post will be moved there soon.

Thank you very much. But we do not want to be Cloud provider, just want to use the open cloud storage as backup storage.

Got it, was confused at first, since you'd mentioned our cloud connect solution. Anyway, without storage gateway in place, I doubt that this solution would work, as currently backup server cannot backup directly to S3 compatible devices. Thanks.

We have a feature called Archive Tier that is scheduled for one of the next product versions; it allows you to make use of S3-compatible storage. Thanks.

@texas this has been around since v9.5. There is the ability to add s3 compatible object storage repos and add them to a sobr. What exactly are you looking for?

By the way, it's also supported as a target archive repository for NAS-backup in the version 10. Please refer to our help center for more information.
