Case-Nr. 04694304
After an Instant VM Recovery, the VM could not be mounted due to missing RAM.
I deleted the restored VM-files and the folder were they were stored.
Maybe this was not a good idea!
Now the instant recovery job hangs in the VBR-console with the status "dismounting" and can not be deleted or stopped.
A restart of the VBR-Host did not help.
How can I get rid of this hanging job?

This will likely require configuration database edits to clean up stuck records. You have already opened a support case, so they will assist you.

Re: How to kill a hanging Instant VM Recovery Job
The support did not answer yet.
So I started a second Instant VM Recovery of the VM to a different Hyper-V host destination with more RAM.
This time the VM was successfully mounted and afterwards the hanging job disappeared.
