Delete metadata

Hi,

Just wondering, I checked veeam metadata folder there are around 60GB and the oldest on is yr of 2017, just to see if they are safe to delete?
As the replication job are all running fine and I see up to date metadata folders generated in the same folder.

Hmm, my metadata folders for replication look normal (no old data).

Please check with support what happened. Chances are high that you can delete the data, but I don't want to recommend it. I mean, there will be no data loss (if we are really talking about the replication metadata folder), but I don't know your environment and even if it's only a digest recalculation you might be unhappy... so please confirm with support.

Thanks Hannes, I cut and pasted old metadata to somewhere else and veeam seems to be ok, I click on the restore it shows what I want. So I assume it is ok to delete it.

It's ok to delete metadata, it will be recreated - just be ready to longer next job runs due to digests recalculation, mentioned by Hannes.
