Hi all,
i have a question about veeam lab on advanced single host configuration.
I need to put the proxy appliance on the same network of the backup server (for ease), but in the "isolated network" step of the wizard it put automatically the network mapping with the port group of the proxy appliance with an isolated network.
But this is really necessary? Because the vms that i want to check are on differents vlan than the proxy appliance.
So i think my configuration should be to insert in the "isolated network" step of the wizard only the 2 port group of the tested machines.
Is this correct?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Veeam Lab
Hello,
Yes, you can / need to add multiple network cards to the proxy appliance to check VMs on different networks.
Note: I updated the forum FAQ last week and added links to how-to videos which include virtual lab and sure backup. That might help.
Best regards,
Hannes
yep, I recommend the same. But it's not required. It's just easier because you don't need to configure routing on your physical network routers (layer 3 switches) then.same network of the backup server (for ease),
