V6 accessing SCVMM 2012
I'm trying to add Hyper-V servers in VBR v6 using SCVMM option. I have (3) Hyper-V core hosts in a cluster. When I try to add the clustername or the SCVMM console server i receive the following error: Veeam Backup & Replication server does not have Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console installed.
Any ideas?

Hi Jeff, you need to have SCVMM Administrator console installed on the backup console to add SCVMM server. Have you already done that?

Re: V6 accessing SCVMM 2012
Please note that SCVMM2012 is not released yet. We do not support pre-release version of 3rd party products. As per the System Requirements document included with your download, only the current version of SCVMM is supported (which is 2008 R2 SP1). Thanks!

Thanks for the confirmation on release candidates. If Veeam needs someone to beta test SCVMM 2012, I'm your man.

Re: V6 accessing SCVMM 2012
Sounds good, we have it installed too and it is awesome! Please note however that our solution is not really dependant on SCVMM, as you can add your hosts and clusters directly. SCVMM serves nothing but the existing catalog of those. That is in contrary to VMware, where adding vCenter Server is the recommended approach because it provides certain benefits. Thanks!

That answers that question then . Will have to wait until SCVMM 2012 is RTM
