Replacing Server

I have replaced one of our main data servers and need to make the change in Veeam. If I remove the original server from the backup routine and put the other in its place will the original continue to take up storage space? It isn't a big deal on our local storage but on our hosted cloud connect account we are limited in available space. What is the best way to handle this?

The restore points for previously backed up server will still take place on the repository, until they get removed by retention policy. However, if this setting is enabled, you can remove backups of particular server while leaving other machines' backups intact. Thanks!
