Enterprise Manger V11 doesn't upgrade licenses on Veeam B&R servers

Hi,

Our backup environment
Has currently Enterprise Manager and Veeam One upgraded to V11.
When the Veeam B&R servers in all regions still are running on V10.
That didn't give any issue all worked fine as descripted in the manuals.
License key got update to the Veeam B&R all worked fine.

Now is the current license key expiring.
When I install a new merged license key on the enterprise manager. It looks there fine the key is valid.
Only thing on the the Veeam B&R servers they key isn't updated however when I check for update i got on all of them that the license is managed by the enterprise manager.

I did tried to create a V10 and V11 merged license key both did give as resuled succesful and valid license.
But both have the same result the license doesn't get updated on the Veeam B&R servers.

I logged case 4769889 for this.
Out of a first reply I got a kb how to install the license key in EM, what wasn't very helpfull.

Currently Enterprise Manager can send licenses only to backup servers that are running the same product version. We're aware of this feature request and actively working on enabling such scenario in future. Thanks!

Update backup servers to version 11 - this seems to be the only workaround, apart from disconnecting backup servers from enterprise manager and manually installing required license on them. Thanks!

This is not acceptable Veeam confirmed us we could upgrade Veeam One and EM to V11
and the Veeam B&R servers would stay working fine under V10
Is there no way that way that we install the license key directly on the B&R servers.
And we stop EM communicating to the B&R servers for the license.
Is there no reg key to prevent this.

You can add the following regkey on the machine running Enterprise Manager:

Key: HKLM\Software\VeeaM\Veeam Backup Reporting
Type: DWORD
Name: SkipLicensePush
Value: 0 pushes license from EM, 1 skips pushing of license

Hi , veremin

+1 have some issue .

If I added Regkey (SkipLicensePush = 1) on the EM server and reboot OS , but EM still push license to VBR Server (v12.1) .
