Switch from Backup Copy to Catalyst Copy
Hello,
i have 2 storeonces, a copy job that copy all data from the first one to the second one, i'm going to switch to catalyst copy mode, i wonder if veeam will re copy all data from Storeonce 1 to Storeonce 2 or only incrementale copy ? Does anyone have experience in ?

Re: Switch from Backup Copy to Catalyst Copy
Hello bricel13,
Unfortunately it's not possible to map exiting backups to a HPE StoreOnce copy job. This job creates identical copy of the source side backups, while traditional backup copy job creates it's own backup chain, metadata and tracks its own restore points (say, for periodic copy you might have less restore points on target than on source). Cheers!

The actual transfer though will take into account the fact that the same data is already on target and shouldn't be transferred again, thanks to deduplication.

Good point, this was my question in fact, so a new folder structure will be created but datas shouldn't be trasnferred again. Thanks

Correct, this is the expected behavior.
