Can VEEAM B&R backup files on a CSV not connected to a VM?

We want to backup our support files (ISO, free standing template files etc.) that are on the cluster CSV.
Also ran into an issue where VMDK files not attached to a VM were not backed up.

I think you should have a look at NAS backup and file copy job. Also, could you please clarify the issue, in particular why do you expect to have VMDK that are not attached to a VM in backup?
