B&R v6: VM notes not being updated after backup

We use the feature in which B&R updates the last backup time in the VMware "Notes" attribute.

Ever since upgrading to v6, the attribute is no longer being updated. I verified that the check box is still selected on the backup job. Anyone else seeing this?

Only think I can think of that is different is that we changed our jobs from a separate job for individual VMs to one job for a whole cluster, and a number of those backups show 'warning' due to the VMware tools being out of date. Maybe related? But the Notes attribute isn't being updated on ANY of the VMs, not even the ones with up-to-date tools.

Seems cosmetic, as the backups are indeed happening. Would be nice to get fixed, though.

Yep, I see no issues with this functionality.

Just heard from QC that they have confirmed this issue, it appears to be specific to jobs writing to CIFS share backup repositories, which is why we did not see it.

Support confirmed it is a bug, and will be fixed in a future release.

I can confirm this is fixed in Patch 2. (Might have been fixed in patch 1 - don't know since I didn't install it).
