Hello All,
We want to backup VMs hosted on 10 Hyper-V 2016 servers. The 10 Hyper-V servers are all connected to a HPE 3PAR 8000 Storage array
We have 2 physical servers and we want to use them as off-host Proxies.
We would like to know if the Off-Host proxies or Production Hyper-V servers need any components (such as Storage array Drivers, etc) so that the Backup Jobs be performed properly.
Thanks.

Re: Off-Host Proxies components required
You can find the requirements here (assuming you are using the HPE Storage as a SAN)

Re: Off-Host Proxies components required
Hello,
and I strongly recommend to use on-host proxy if you want to have a happy life
Actually with 3par the chances are relatively high to get it working, but I still wouldn't do it. Especially not for such a small environment.
Best regards,
Hannes
