New AWS, Azure services in V11

Post by rdixon01 »

In Veeam B&R v10 I was told that if we were not using any cloud services that we should disable and stop the Veeam Cloud Connect service. I recently upgraded to version 11 and I see that the Cloud service was set back to Auto and running. I also see that there is a AWS and Azure service. Is it recommended or OK to disable the AWS and Azure service like I did with the cloud service if we are not using them, yet.

Hi Rick,

By design, these services are installed and started automatically and do not impact the product functionality even if you do not use corresponding features, you may whether to stop or leave these services up and running, it's up to you.

Thanks!
