Filesystem best practices

Post by unsichtbarre »

I am creating a new LUN and formatting it for Veeam o365. I was wondering about the volume formatting in Windows? My dataset is about 15TB and growing.

ReFS for NTFS?
Default or 64K?

What are the best practices here?

Would that be my environment, I would keep it simple and use ntfs. Veeam doesn‘t have any built in features with refs for vbo365.

Correct. Defaults would be certainly good. Our repository is a Jet DB which is also the technology used in Exchange Server on-premises.
