Use Squid as a Web proxy for Copying Backups to S3

Post by Tos »

Hi

Our prospect customer want to use Squid as Web Proxy when Copying Backups to Capacity Tier (S3).
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110

We think it is possible to use Web Proxy by setting WinHTTP as described in the KB below.
https://www.veeam.com/kb3090

Is there a success story that uses Squid as a Web Proxy when Copying Backups to Capacity Tier (S3) ?

Let me know.

Hello,
I expect it to "just works". Zero complaints on the public forums for an often-used software usually means "it works" :-)

Maybe someone answers, but usually people come to the forums with issues (not with "it works"). So you could also write a success story and share your experience with the community. ;-)

Best regards,
Hannes
