Hi,
in my backup environment I have an ISCSI Target mounted on a physical Host (Windows). On top of it I use ReFs as filesystem and this disk is configured as Backup repository within a SOBR.
Now I want to move that repo to a new server by preserving all the backups and chains. Does someone of you have an idea how I can do this?
My idea was the following:
1. Remove the backup repo from the SOBR
2. Remove the repository
3. Mount the ISCSI LUN on the new server
4. Add the Backup repository to Veeam
5. Add the repository to the SOBR
6. Rescan SOBR
Thanks & Regards,
Jürgen

Re: Move Backup repository to new server by preserving the Storage
The described plan looks valid. Thanks!
