changing Physical Repository

Hi Expert,
i have a query regarding Backup Repository , My existing environment is that i have HP Gen7 Server use as a Backup Repository with 4 Nodes of vSphere , Now i purchased a New Hardware HP Gen9 , i want to shift my All backup repository from old to new server with no loss of old backup (its almost 3 TBs backup) and jobs , required best practice steps to shift it smoothly.

Hello,
there are several options depending on the available hardware, file system used (REFS / XFS with block cloning) and backup retention settins.

https://www.veeam.com/kb1729 covers very many options.

Using the "sealed mode" with scale out repositories is probably the smoothest option if you have a short retention and / or REFS / XFS.
