Copy Job with disabled source-job behaviour

Post by WELAndM »

In the case that a Backup Job that is disabled has a secondary Copy Job configured with GFS retention, will the GFS retention continue to expire old backups?

For example:
A backup copy job that backs up daily for 7 days which feeds a Copy job that is configured to copy the 7 daily backups and keep weekly backups for 4 weeks.

If the backup job is cancelled (or deleted) will those weekly backups in the Copy Job expire and be deleted?

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Yes, that's a new feature in V11.

Best regards,
Hannes
