Veeam Agent backup - last backup not started and no notification?

Hello,

I've created an "Agent Backup Job" with Veeam B&R 11 to backup a Windows 10 workstation.

The agent (Veeam Agent 5.0.04301) was deployed to the workstation and settings are applied. The first backup was successful but:
- on the Windows 10 client, when I open the tray icon i see only "Last Backup: not started"
- a notification e-mail that the backup was successful was not sent. Where can I change this? In the "Agent Backup Job settings" -> Storage-> Advanced-> Notification I can only set "send daily e-mail report"

Hi!

- Just wondering, is that job in "Managed by Agent" or "Managed by server" mode? UI should reflect job run anyway...
- Notifications for VBR jobs are set under File - General Options - Email Settings. With Notifications tab in the job itself you can alter Global Settings behavior to tune the job according to specific requirements.

Hi,

- Job i in "Managed by Agent" mode
- Global Notifications are set and working for all other jobs...

Right, for "Managed by Agent" mode we send Daily Report summary, as we are never sure if agent will be online (as you can take laptop home, for example) - we will collect agent status information throughout the day and send summary based on General Options (Daily Summary time) or those set granularly for that policy at Storage-Advanced tab.

Hi,

still have the "problem": Job are started succussfully but on the Workstation tray icon "Lastbackup: not started". Any ideas what I can try?

When you open workstation agent console, do you see preconfigured job pushed from VBR server?

Hi,

yes, I see the preconfigured job psuhed from VBR. I found now a workaround for this issue: https://www.veeam.com/kb2302

seems to be an issue with Windows 10 or latest Veeam Agent.
