Hi, we have some questions regarding the VBO service from one of our customers which I'm hoping somebody can help us answer?
Are Sensitivity labels and retention labels backed up and restored?
Does any Microsoft 365 configuration get saved or is it just the data?
Do Power platform configs get backed up?
Do Sharepoint custom components and add-ons get backed up?
Apologies if this is answered in the documentation I have searched but couldn't find anything
Thanks
Martyn

1. These are currently not supported.
2. We don't back up anything regarding the configuration. Is there something specific you would like to see backed up or need?
3. These are currently not supported.
4. Could you clarify a bit more what you mean with components? If you are talking about 3rd party solutions integrated, these aren't backed up as of the current version.

A small addition to #1: Sensitivity labels applied to documents are backed up as part of document properties and preserved after such documents are restored.
Thanks Niels and Polina. Further clarification below Niels

Search managed meta data for SharePoint, Term store values and search configurations

We usually develop custom web part using SharePoint’ development framework (SPfx).

Search managed meta data for SharePoint, Term store values and search configurations -> This is not being protected. It belongs to the Term store configuration and is not in scope as "data" (and for now not so easy to reach and grab)
custom web part using SharePoint’ development framework
-> Most of it will be protected, but it is always good to do a test. Some parts are stored on places inside the M365 service where we can't reach
