File Share backup job failed Case #04960634
Hello.
I am user to Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition software . So far i used V10 but recently installed V11. One of the shared file tasks stopped working after the change. Error Message :
12.08.2021 13:45:36 :: Error: Agent: Failed to process method {NasMaster.CreateBackupProcessor}: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
A brief description of the configuration.
One of the network shares is backed up from a virtual file server to another physical machine. Physical machines are fujitsu. I did an agent update on veeam recommended machines. I also did a manual update of the agent to version 5.0.0.4301. Additionally installed Fujitsu Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication.
Any ideas ?

Can you please clarify is that a nas backup job (file level backup) or an agent backup job (image level backup)? Thanks!

Before I wrote the post, I already tested it. The network share is functioning normally. I can copy files there or create new ones there. I even tested several network shares on different physical machines.

I'm closing the case. I managed to fix the problem. Details: deleted the task -> deleted the server from the "file server" tab -> deleted from the server from "microsoft windows". Then I added it again. I created a new task which ended with success.
