Disaster Recovery Orchestrator Database Migration

Post by spider32 »

I'm trying to move our DRO Databases from the existing SQL Express Edition to our Enterprise SQL server. The DRO server has the Veeam.Backup.dbconfig utility but I believe this only migrates the VeeamBackup database. Is there another utility that I can use to migrate the VAO and One Databases as well? If not I know we can MS SQL SMS but hoping there's a utility similar to Veeam.Backup.dbconfig for the DR Orchestrator.

Thanks much!

Hi! There's a process for migrating the Orchestrator database, you may need to decrypt the SQL connection string in the registry, so I'd recommend opening a support case. Our excellent support team have done this a few times and I'm assured it's a breeze :)
