essentials limitations

Post by lowlander »

Hi,

as I understand there are different versions of veeam essentials.

Are there limitations regarding the # of scale out backup repositories you can create ?

Can't find the right feature comparison with Veeam backup standard or enterprise plus ;)

Veeam Backup Essentials (VUL) has the features of the enterprise plus edition. No limitations at all in SOBR or other functions :)

For the socket edition, you had to choose which edition you wanted. I am not sure if they are available today to buy for new customers. VUL is the feature :)

You can find the feature comparison here:

For today new customers can buy Veeam Essentials Standard when it comes to perpetual CPU socket licensing. But as the PDF shows you that Standard doesnt support SOBR in general.
