We opened a case for this (Case #04935448) but it was closed without reply.
We are using the free Windows agent to backup a Server 2012 to rotated disks shared off a PC. The only maintenance option is a weekly Health Check set to run on Friday.
This works, but the agent also runs a Health Check whenever the disk is rotated, which is typically Monday. The duration of the Health Check sometimes causes the subsequent backup to be missed, which we are prepared for on the weekend but not during the week.
We've found this behaviour in v3, v4 and now 5.0.0.4301.
Is there a way to disable the automatic Health Check when a new rotated disk is detected?
Thanks,
John

Re: Health Check runs on scheduled day but also on disk rotation
Hi John,
Yes, there is a way to disable a health check run on the not scheduled day. To do that, create a registry key on the machine in question:
Thanks!
