cannot run 11a setup.exe

Is there a prerequisite that i've possibly missed?
I have B&R 10.0.1.4854 on Windows 2012 build 9600.
I've downloaded the VeeamBackup&Replication_11.0.1.1261_20211005.iso 4 times to validate good download.

Every time i run setup.exe , i only get "[b&r] AutoRun has stopped working"

There are no pre-requisites. Something is just seriously wrong with the machine you're running the setup on. Try it on any other machine, and you will see that it works fine (you don't actually need to continue).

Solved. something about the virtually mounted .iso on this machine was operating wrongly. i copied the 7+GB as local files and it runs.

forgive my ignorance about case#. i'm accustomed to public forums being free-for-all :P (Especially thinking this did not warrant the effort to opening a case)

It's free for all indeed, but there are some rules about posting about technical issues: these require debug logs and sometimes live environment investigation which cannot be done via forum posts. Plus we have no Support staff on these R&D forums in any case.

Thus, the support case requirement.
