My main objective is to backup sql database , when i do backup of the entire computer ( WIN 2012R2) wich is a physical computer , even when activating ( APPLICATION AWARE PROCESSING) , SQL doesn't show up when i try to restore , it shows only ( Active directory ) . How can i solve this plz
NB : i am using SQL express

Hi Morad,
It is worth checking for presence of MS SQL Server VSS Writer on your server with "cmd > vssadmin list writers".
Also, please attach logs for that backup job to the opened case(my.veeam.com) - support will have to inspect backup log to determine the root of the issue.

That means you have some sort of stripped down\corrupted MS SQL installation. Give it a shot to KB2095.
