Instant recovery an NFS volume

Hi.
I'm trying to test an istant recovery but all it dont't start because can't find NFS volume.
For this reason I've checked on my VMWare ESXi host if is there any NFS Volume but I can find only the datastore on wich are stored all VMs and none vPower NFS Datastore.
The question is : Why I can't find mounted NSF folder and vPower NFS Datastore on my ESXi host?
Is this vPower NFS Datastore automatically created during the Veeam B&R inistial setup or, rather, must I manually mount on ESXi host afterwards?
Any idea?

Hi,
during the instant VM recovery we automatically create and mount the NFS datastore in your environment.
You would need to check the logs to see why it is not mounted.
please open a case and share case ID if you can't find out yourself.

Another update:
Looking at VMkernek.log on ESXi server I see this:

NFS: 172: NFS mount 192.168.1.43:/VeeamBackup_w10-eM failed: Unable to connect to NFS server.

Hi,

one thing that comes in my mind is that you may not have a VMkernel Port that is able to reach to IP Subnet the Veeam server runs on.
What data protocol do you use in your environment (NFS, iSCSI, FC) for your datastore?

I've read many docs about Instant Recovery use and configuration, but I never found any docs about what you say.
May you suggest where found it?

Hi,

by that I mean if you have a vmkernel port that can reach the IP 192.168.1.43 from your Host? So in short, are all Veeam and VMware components on the Same subnet without firewalls enabled?

You can use the vmkping command on the esxi cli to find out.

As mentioned it’s about Troubleshooting here and our support will look into it.
