hi guys,

I have 1 physical server hardware have problem and I been remove from Inventory , and Backup Job.

I using same IP Address on new server, when I install Agent it hit error

Code: Select all

Unable to install backup agent: cannot connect to xxxxx Error: Failed to call RPC function 'EpAgentCollectSystemInfo': The string universal unique identifier (UUID) is invalid. Failed to convert string [<UUID>] to UUID.

how I can solve this issue.

Hi,

From the top of my head - if the machine is already removed from all jobs and all protection groups, please try to perform "Revoke" and "Remove" actions for that particular agent.

If that does not work, then please proceed to opening a support case as requested by Natalia.

I been check Revoke and Remove, it totally remove the server. but still hit that error.
