target VM with iSCSI initiator

I have a VM I am setting up that will have drives attached internally via the MS iSCSI initiator. I only need to backup the VMFS contained C: and D: drives. I do not need to backup the drives being presented by the target's iSCSI initiator. Will this cause any problems?

What about Replicating VM connected to Targets using iSCSI initiator, will Veeam Replication will present all of these disks to the target VM?

No, Veeam replication will not be actively "presenting" any disks to the replica VM, or anything like that.
It will just work, since in-guest iSCSI initiator settings are stored with the OS (and so are present in the replica VM).
