Volume Level Cluster MS
Hello everybody,
I have a microsoft cluster and would like to backup only the specific path example: j:\databackup.
But when configuring this way I get a warning of "ensure the specified path represents a mounted volume otherwise this folder will be ignored by the volume-level"
Is this setting supported by Veeam Agent?

Hi Amauri
For Failover Cluster Jobs, only Entire Computer or Volume Level Backup is possible.
Have a look at this kb article how to configure veeam Agent Jobs for a Failover cluster:

Hi Fabian
I performed a backup of volume level, it read all nodes in the cluster, but did not back up the data from the path I mentioned.

Re: Volume Level Cluster MS
sarapinho,
Yes you can backup a volume mounted to a folder, however, if path represents regular folder with the data it will be ignored. Is that a backup job with a 'cluster' type or regular backup jop? For regular server job you can go to a file level backup mode, add needed volume and need the path to the folder. Thanks!

Hi Dima,
Backup is at the cluster level.
Problem of pointing to a single node, when the disk is moved, backups fail.

Thanks sarapinho! For cluster level backup, unfortunately, there is no exclusion logic. I'll note your post as a feature request!
