Veeam Backup job and Backup Copy job consolidated reporting

Hello,

I would like to know if we can process the emails sent from Veeam once a day (once the backup window has finished) and ensure we have 2 success emails for each job (one for the main backup job and one for the replication job. I would like to get an email daily that will mention all back jobs have been completed and its status (Successful, Warning or Critical).


EX. I have 12 jobs and from those 12 jobs I want one email stating those 12 jobs and saying that those jobs have been completed successfully, have warnings or some critical. this is for the backup and replication jobs.


job 1 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 2 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 3 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 4 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 5 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 6 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 7 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 8 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 9 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 10 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 11 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical
job 12 = back successfuly completed or warning or critical

Is There any way that we can configure it in Veeam? This is to avoid receiving many emails with all that information for each backup job.

Hello, Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager provides a daily summary email for all jobs, this would be the closest to what you want to see. For additional customizations, I recommend you look at Veeam ONE alerting. Thanks!

Even if you config the notifications, how can we make sure that we only receive one email stating all backup jobs and status and another for the replication backup jobs and status?

Here is where I am struggling as I do not want to receive one email per each job.

Using Veeam B&R 10.
We have multiple jobs that send reports based on the global notification settings.
It sends multiple job reports every night.
We're looking to consolidate all job status reports into a single report that we see in the morning instead of having to sift through the 10+ emails we get throughout the night.

I can't seem to find an easy way for this. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks to the forum admins for merging my question into this post.

After seeing this thread I find it odd that such a popular product doesn't offer a consolidated report?... How odd. Is this on the product map? As a system admin I only want one report for my backups, not emails for every single job that runs.

Such "consolidated" reports as well as other extensive monitoring and reporting capabilities are provided by the Veeam ONE product (part of Veeam Availability Suite).

To give you a few examples:
Latest Job Status
Job History
Workload Protection History

Alternatively, you may use VBR or Enterprise Manager REST APIs to pull near the same data with a bit of effort.
